Petrified Gel is a trinket added in The Reheated Update.

Effects

• Poops have a 20% chance to be replaced by Shampoo.
• Shampoo have improved loot drops when destroyed, and can no longer spawn Drops.

Notes

• Shampoo will only replace regular Poops. Corny Poop, Red Poop, etc., will not be replaced.

Loot Calculation

• Shampoo loot is decided by generating a random number between 0 and n, where n is calculated as: 200 / (1 + 2(Petrified Poop Multiplier + Petrified Gel Multiplier))
• Once the random number r has been generated, the first of these to be true determines the loot:
  • r < 4: A Key.
  • r < 8: A Half Soul Heart.
  • r < 24: A Penny.
  • Otherwise: Nothing.
• As the total trinket multiplier of Petrified Poop and Petrified Gel increases, the chances of getting rarer drops also increases. The following table details the loot percentages based on the code:

Note that without Petrified Gel, there is a flat 10% chance for Shampoo to spawn a Drop instead of any loot. This table only considers the loot chance after the Shampoo grid has decided not to spawn a Drop.

Interactions

• The Poop: Poops spawned by using The Poop will have a 30% chance to be converted into Shampoo, affected by Trinket Multipliers.
• Trinket Multipliers: The chance for poop to be replaced with Shampoo is increased, as is the chance for rarer loot to drop from Shampoo.
• Petrified Poop: Holding Petrified Poop adds 1 to the Total Multiplier in the loot calculation, and increases by 1 for every additional Trinket Multiplier affecting Petrified Poop.
• Azurite Spindown: Using Azurite Spindown on Petrified Gel rerolls it into Locked Shackle.

Trivia

• Petrified Gel's name and flavor text are both directly taken from the Petrified Poop trinket, alluding to it being the Shampoo counterpart.
